Black River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Receives Grant from Black River Falls Municipal Utilities

-The Black River Area Chamber of Commerce recently received a $1,000 grant provided by the Black River Falls Municipal Utilities, a member of WPPI Energy.The grant was made available through an annual program WPPI Energy provides to its member utilities to stimulate economic growth. Amanda Gunn, BRACC Executive Director, expressed her thanks to WPPI Energy and BRFMU for selecting the Chamber as a recipient of this grant.
She said the funds will be used for costs associated with the Black River Area Oktoberfest celebration. John Lund, BRFMU Commission President, made the check presentation to Chamber Office Assistant Samantha Windsor on October 29th.
