Minnesota Man Sentenced for Kidnapping a Woman and Bringing Her to Wisconsin

-A Minnesota man accused of kidnapping a woman and bringing her to Wisconsin was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Friday.Back in September, Dwayne Doxen picked up a woman from a homeless shelter promising her work. After the woman asked Doxen to let her go, he refused. Eventually, Doxen let the woman use the bathroom at the Hixton Travel Center in Jackson County where whe was able to get help.
During his court appearance on Friday, Doxen was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon. Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.
