Clark County Sheriff's Deputy's Act of Kindness Goes Viral

Thursday, October 31st, 2019 -- 11:45 AM

-A Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy is making the rounds on social media and local news outlets after an act of kindness during an arrest.

According to a post on the Clark County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page, Deputy Aaron Bembnister was at a residence where a male subject was being arrested for his probation warrant. While waiting for family to pick up the baby, the baby started to cry. Without hesitation, Deputy Bembnister began to calm the baby down. He got the baby’s formula and, using water from his own squad, he made the baby a bottle. He fed and even burped the baby all while waiting for the family to come and pick the baby up.

The child’s father, handcuffed in the sheriff’s vehicle, thanked Deputy Bembnister for taking care of his child. He even called the deputy a “good dude.” Deputy Bembnister’s act has been shared on social media, including our Facebook page, and on other local news stations.
