Granton School Board Approves Tax Levy

-The Granton School Board, and others present, approved the 2019-20 levy at Granton’s Annual Meeting on Monday.The electorate approved the resolution for the tax levy in the amount $1,167,182.00 with $925,142 for the General Fund 10, $212,040 for Debt Service Fund 39, and $30,000 for Community Service Fund 80.
The Mill Rate will go down from $10.65 to $10.23 per $1000 of property value. There were no other concerns regarding the budget.
