LOCAL CRANE COUNT SET

It?s a day bird-lovers look forward to every year. The International Crane Foundation?s 30th Annual Midwest Crane Count will be held on April 16th here in Clark County and around the Midwest. The count is used to monitor the general population trend of sandhill cranes in the Upper Midwest.Last year, Clark County counters tallied 141 sandhill cranes. The tally for the entire region was over 13,500 cranes.
