Barth had to call the police in order to be rescued from the wire. After his rescue, he was treated at Mayo Clinic Health System and then promptly arrested for criminal trespass. BASE jumping stands for building, antenna, span and earth, the four common objects from which BASE jumpers launch their descent.

Barth is being charged with criminal tresspass to energy provider property. During his court appearance on Friday, he was given a $1,000 signature bond. He’s scheduled to be back in court on December 10th.
