Marathon County Sheriff's Office Trying to Locate Two Men Threatening Undocumented Immigrants

(Wausau Daily Herald) -The Marathon County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help identify two "Hispanic-looking" men who police say have been making threats against undocumented immigrants.The men have been using guns to threaten undocumented Hispanic families, according to the sheriff's office. The men are demanding money from the families and threatening to harm them if they don't pay. One of the men is tall and skinny with a long face. The second man is shorter and heavy-set, with a long mustache. However, his mustache is missing facial hair right under his nose. The sheriff's office believes the men are driving a black Ford F-150 or F-250 truck with no topper. The sheriff's office believes these men are targeting undocumented Hispanic immigrants because they are unlikely to report the threats to police.
"We are not seeking to know whether you are in the United States legally," the sheriff's office wrote. "The actions of the perpetrators are illegal and law enforcement exists to investigate all criminal acts."
