Federal Judge Rejects Lawsuit Over State's "Lame Duck" Laws

(WRN) -A federal judge has rejected a lawsuit over Wisconsin's "lame duck" laws.The Wisconsin Democratic Party filed the lawsuit in federal court, accusing Republicans of limiting the powers of Governor Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul in an extraordinary session last December.
In dismissing the case Monday, Judge James Peterson said the case belongs in state court, not federal court.
