Neillsville City Council Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville City Council approved several items at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved an official resolution supporting the sewer connection agreement with Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville. The council has discussed this agreement for some time and finally approved the agreement itself at their meeting earlier this month. This resolution shows they support the agreement. They also approved a resolution regarding the special assessments of properties in Neillsville that received new curb and gutter on the east and west side of Willow Street beginning at East 8th and running south to East 6th Street. Resident were given the option to speak during a hearing about the assessments during the regular Common Council meeting.
The council also approved the new ordinance regarding snowmobiles, ATV’s and UTV’s on city streets. The ordinance also deals with speed stating that all vehicles must follow the posted speed limits. Finally, the council discussed radios for the Neillsville Police Department and they discussed a donation to the Neillsville Public Library.
