Governor Evers Discusses Gun Control Legislation

(WRN) -Governor Evers says despite questions about gun buybacks, his administration is focused on just two points when it comes to gun safety."Universal background checks and making sure that people that are struggling with mental health issues, that have been deemed to be dangerous by a court of law, have their guns temporarily taken away from them."
This was Evers was speaking at a luncheon hosted by Wis Politics. Evers tried to avoid a question about buybacks of assault rifles at a press conference on new gun laws last week, but did say he'd consider it.
