MACCI Kicks Off Crystal Apple Awards Program

(Hub City Times) -On Sept. 24, the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry kicked off the 17th annual Crystal Apple Awards program, recognizing “excellence in education.”Business professionals visited nine area school districts, including: Marshfield public, Columbus Catholic, Trinity Lutheran, Immanuel Lutheran, Spencer, Greenwood, Granton, Pittsville, Auburndale, and St. Joseph in Stratford, presenting gifts in appreciation for what educators do. Students, parents, and colleagues were all encouraged to nominate their favorite teacher.
New this year, nominations can be submitted electronically. The program will culminate on April 29 with a banquet honoring our 24 Teachers of Distinction. The recognition event will be held at Hotel Marshfield.
