Another Business Closes in Marshfield

(Focus on Marshfield) -Employees reported to work Thursday morning at 1915 E. 29th Street in Marshfield to learn that their place of employment had closed.Signs were posted on the entrances of Alamo Retail Solutions announcing that the location was closed. The notice went on to say that employees would receive their final paycheck on the regular scheduled pay day and that any questions should be emailed to [email protected]. According to the company’s website, Alamo Retail Solutions employs 18 craftsmen and women in the heart of America’s Dairyland. Alamo Retail is a manufacturer of cabinets, fixtures and retail solutions.
Their profile of work includes work for Culvers, Old Country Buffet, Golden Corral, Gap, Target, Capital One, Hyundai, Marshfield Clinic and many others. No other information has been made available on the decision to close the location at this time. This closure adds to a series of closures in Marshfield over the last 16 months, amounting to nearly 500 jobs displaced.
