President's Approval Rating at 45% in Wisconsin

(WRN) -President Trump's approval ratings in Wisconsin continue to be underwater, according to the latest Marquette Law School Poll.In the latest polling, only 45 percent of respondents say they approve of how the president is doing his job, while 53 percent disapprove. Political scientist Charles Franklin says that's significant, over the long term.
"The result is that the average of these three polls is an average net score of negative three points, which is the only three polls in our entire 53 poll series that's been that negative."
The poll also shows Democrat Joe Biden with a 9-point lead over Trump, 51% to 42%. That is the strongest showing of any Democratic candidate. Wisconsin is one of a small number of states expected to determine the outcome of the 2020 election. Governor Ever's job approval rating is up since April. 54 percent of respondents approve of Evers, while 34 percent disapprove. The poll of 800 registered voters was taken between Aug. 25 and Aug. 29. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
