NEILLSVILLE POSTMASTER WORKING IN MARSHFIELD

Folks dropping off mail at the Neillsville post office have been missing a familiar face lately.Postmaster Mike Lacey is serving as the Officer in Charge at the Marshfield Post Office as their postmaster Laurie Rogney completes an assignment that will keep her out of the office for at least 3 months.
Lacey said Rogney?s departure set off a domino effect that had postmasters moving all over central Wisconsin. He said it can?t become a permanent position unless Rogney ends up taking a different job. Even then, Lacey wouldn?t just be handed the Marshfield Postmaster?s position ? it would have to be posted.
Lacey has been Neillsville?s postmaster for the past 12 years.
