Last Man Involved in Robbery in Black River Falls Sentenced

Friday, July 19th, 2019 -- 1:10 PM

-The last of four people arrested after an armed robbery in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Thursday.

According to the Black River Falls Police Department, back in July of 2018, they received a report of an armed robbery on 215 South 5th Street. The individual stated that two people robbed him at gunpoint while two others remained in the vehicle and he was able to identify the suspects that robbed him. They took several duffle bags from his car and authorities believe the incident was drug related. In the end, officers were able to arrest all of the individuals involved including Sheleah Grata, Amanda Peters, Charles Redcloud and Lance Lewis. During a court appearance in May, Redcloud pleaded guilty to theft of moveable property and bail jumping. Several other charges were dismissed and read in.

Redcloud was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and 4.5 years of extended supervision. As for the other, Lewis pleaded guilty to armed robbery. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision. Peters was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, armed robbery. She was sentenced to 4 years of probation. Grata was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 5 years of probation for her part in the crime.
