License Plate and Fluid Trail Leads to Arrest of Marshfield Crash Suspect

-A front license plate and a trail of fluids led to the arrest of a Marshfield man after a one vehicle accident.According to the Marshfield Police Department, a light pole had partially blocked east traffic on McMillian Street in Marshfield. The crash occurred around 1am on July 11th. They determined a vehicle had left the road and struck the divider and light pole.
A license plate was left at the scene of the crash and there were fluids that led to the garage of the man responsible for the accident. 48-year-old Craig Michaelis was arrested for OWI and hit and run of property. The damage total was estimated at $12,000.
