13th Annual Kubb Championships Happening in Eau Claire this Weekend

-Eau Claire is defending its title as the Kubb Capitol of North America with the 13th Annual Kubb Championships this weekend.Kubb is a lawn game where the objective is to knock over wooden blocks, or kubbs, by throwing wooden batons at them. Kubb is often described as a combination of bowling and horseshoes. Rules vary from country to country, but the ultimate goal is to knock over the kubbs on the opposing side and then knock over the “king,” which is a taller wooden piece, on the opposite side before your opponent does.
500 Kubb players from 18 different states have converged in Eau Claire this weekend for the championships. They’ll continue to play today.
