The council did approve the report, which is an annual report for the Sewer Treatment Plant. This report is a requirement under a Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The council also approved the recommendations for the city’s ATV/UTV ordinance as made by the Ordinance Committee. For ATV/UTVs, the recommendations included no open intoxicants in ATV/UTVs while operating on city streets, the speed limit for ATV/UTVs are the same as the posted speed limit, all occupants in a UTV must wear safety belts, signs shall be posted coming into the city that all roadways are open to ATV/UTVs and there’s a minimum age of 16 years for operating ATV/UTVs on city streets.

They also included a recommendation for golf carts which include a minimum age of 16 years for operating golf carts on city streets, removing permit and inspection requirements for golf carts and golf carts are only allowed on city streets going to or from the Golf Course. During the public opinion portion of the meeting, a resident spoke and another inquired about ATV/UTV routes and address changes for certain area. The Owen-Withee Police Chief addressed both issues.
