Wisconsin Farmer's Union Offers Scholarships For Women
Saturday, November 28th, 2020 -- 7:14 AM
The Wisconsin Farmers Union is offering scholarships for women interested in attending the NFU's 2021 Virtual Women's Conference.
The program, which is slated for January 17-18, is designed to address the unique barriers women face in agriculture.
The forum will cover a variety of subjects including business management, marketing, cooperative development, succession planning, food safety, and leadership. In addition to gaining relevant skills, attendees build a network of women farmers across the country who they can reach out to throughout the year.
Scholarships will help cover registration, which is $25 for Farmers Union members and $45 for non-members.
The scholarship application is available at www.wisconsinfarmersunion.com and is due December 1.
