Simplicity Credit Union Hosts Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Business After 5 to Celebrate New Location

-Simplicity Credit Union hosted a Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Business After 5 to celebrate the opening of their new location here in the City of Neillsville.I spoke with Lori Buffington, the Branch Manager for Neillsville and former Neillsville resident, and she explained why Simplicity decided to open a branch in Neillsville.
"Our members actually came to us. We do a lot of business here because we do risk based lending here, so the better your credit score, the better your interest rate. But also if your credit score isn't great, we can work with you to get you that low and work to get your credit up to par and where it needs to be."
Lori also explained some of the work done on the home they purchased, on Highway 10, and turned into the new Simplicity location.
"We gutted the whole house. One of the things we decided to do was, it came as a vision, to buy a house and start small. Because we want to be smart with our members' money. So, we started with a house and we'll see if we grow and the hopes is that we can build either bigger or find a new location. But I personally love this location! It feels very much a home! We gutted everything to the kitchen. We kept the living room as our waiting room, but everything else has been redone."
Lori ended our interview by explaining Simplicity’s hours and services.
"We are open everyday from 9am-5:30pm Monday through Thursday. And on Friday we're here from 9am-6pm. We do everything savings, checking account, mortgage loans, HSA's, commercial loans, mortgages, you name it, we've got it. Full services to offer!"
Simplicity Credit Union will be having a Grand Opening Ribbon cutting on July 11th, but they are open for business now.
