Competency Hearing Ordered for Athens Man Charged with Sexual Assault

-An Athens man charged for repeated sexual assault of a child appeared in Marathon County Court on Thursday.According to court records, 19-year-old Brandon Langreck assaulted a girl, under the age of 16, three times between the end of January and the end of April in the Village of Spencer. Langreck was out on bond on another assault charge and wasn’t supposed to have contact with anyone under the age of 21.
He’s being charged with repeated sexual assault of a child and three counts of bail jumping. During a motion hearing on Thursday, he had modifications made to his bond and a competency hearing was ordered for June 11th.
