-A man arrested for pointing a gun at people after a road rage incident in Jackson County was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Thursday.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the incident happened back in July of 2018 in the Town of Hixton. Troopers received a description of the vehicle and video footage from a cell phone. They located the vehicle and the suspect in Eau Claire County. Troopers found a handgun in James Hentz’s vehicle and he admitted to the incident.

Hentz was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to a $750 fine plus other costs, which came to a total of $1,398. If he fails to pay by the due date, he’ll receive one day in jail for every $25 left unpaid.
