Governor Evers and Top Republicans Met on Wednesday

(WRN) -Governor Tony Evers met Wednesday with legislative leaders.In a statement following his meeting with Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, Evers said he thought the meeting was "productive," and that criminal justice reform, education, and transportation are issues where there's "a lot of opportunity to make progress."
GOP leaders told reporters that they talked about sexism claims made over last weekend as well as education funding. GOP leaders have complained that Evers has had few meetings with them.
