Eau Claire Man Arrested in Black River Falls for 6th OWI Appears in Jackson County Court

-An Eau Claire man arrested in Black River Falls after he was found passed out in a vehicle appeared in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, back in August of 2018, Chris McMillian was found passed out in a car, blocking a driveway early in the morning. A witness woke McMillian up and he tried to drive away, rear-ending a parked car. The department said that McMillian was uncooperative and refused a field sobriety test.
McMillian is being charged with 6th OWI, two counts of bail jumping, disorderly conduct and 6th operating with a PAC. During his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He also entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court June 12th.
