Nasonville General Manager Talks Award Winning New Products

(Focus on Marshfield) -Weber’s Farm Store and Nasonville Dairy recently took home awards from the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest, held at Lambeau Field in March.Weber’s Farm Store won 3rd place for its drinkable Raspberry Kefir. Nasonville Dairy won 2nd place on its Cucumber Lemon Feta Crumbles. Both are relatively new products that have received a positive response from consumers. “It’s always interesting to us to see how it does,” said Ken Heiman, general manager. “It’s always the idea of what else we can do, what can we make that’s going to be different?” Consumer trends used to be on a 20-year cycle, while today this is closer to 5 years, he said.
The question then becomes finding out which products the consumer would like to see. “We’re always looking for consumer input,” said Heiman. “If consumers see something they’ve seen someplace else, we’re always interested in finding out what next.” Both products can be found on the shelves at Weber’s Farm Store at 9706 County Rd H in Marshfield.
