More Security for Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor

(WRN) -Wisconsin's lieutenant governor is receiving much more security protection than his predecessor.A report from WisPolitics-dot-com indicates the Wisconsin State Patrol’s Dignitary Protection Unit spent nine times as many hours protecting Mandela Barnes over a recent two-month period as it did protecting Rebecca Kleefisch all last year.
Barnes is Wisconsin’s first African American lieutenant governor. A spokesperson for the governor’s office says there will be no compromise when it comes to safety and security.
