Clark County Quarterly Workforce Partnership Meeting Held on Monday

-The Clark County Quarterly Workforce Partnership Meeting was held on Monday.The Clark County Workforce Center had 724 visitors from January to April and they currently have 55 individuals in the WIOA Program. Youth Apprenticeship has over 800 students enrolled and those present also heard an update on the FSET program, which improves job skills and helps individuals gain long term employment. They also heard an update on the Clark County Economic Development Corporation’s Business-to-Business Expo and Career Fair. They also discussed some numbers on Clark County’s tourism and housing in the county.
Finally, everyone present heard updates on the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, CVTC, Page Forward, New Start, House of Mercy, 2nd Chance Thrift Store and an update on the Family Health Center.
