WHITE HAD RESPIRATORY AILMENT

Tuesday, December 28th, 2004 -- 9:13 AM

NFL great Reggie White was honored with a video tribute before the Eagles-Rams game on Monday night, one day after his death. Fans, one of them holding a sign that read "We Love You 92", stood during the memorial and observed a moment of silence. A preliminary autopsy report said White, 43, may have died because of a respiratory disease combined with other health problems. White retired after the 2000 season as the NFL's career sacks leader with 198, a mark that since has been passed by Bruce Smith.
