Black River Falls Student Heading Abroad with Help from Rotary Youth Exchange Program

-Alena Cornelius, a student at the Black River Falls High School, will spend her junior year studying abroad in Thailand through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.The Rotary Youth Exchange program allows students to learn a new culture and language while truly becoming global citizens. The mission of the exchange program is to build peace one young person at a time. Rotary Club President Kristin Franks presented a check in the amount of $,1000 to outbound exchange student Alena on behalf of the Rotary Club of Black River Falls which will assist her with program costs.
