According to the Black River Falls Police Department, early Sunday morning, just before 1am, they attempted to pull over 30-year-old Jon Peterson for speeding. Peterson refused to get out of his vehicle and drove away. He drove through several lawns and ended up getting stuck in a fire pit in a backyard.

Peterson then tried to flee on foot, but he was stopped by the department’s K-9 Officer. Peterson was taken to the Jackson County Jail where he’s facing charges of fleeing an officer, endangering safety, 2nd OWI, resisting arrest and more.
