Fire Danger High for Clark County

-Make sure you check local burning restrictions before you decide to do any burning of leaves or other items during spring yard work.According to the Wisconsin DNR, Clark County is currently under high fire danger. Our neighboring counties of Chippewa, Eau Claire and Jackson are also under high fire danger. However, Wood County is under moderate fire danger and Marathon and Taylor are under low fire danger. The western, west-central and most of the state’s northern counties are under high fire danger.
The southern and some north-eastern counties are under low fire danger. And most eastern and eastern-central counties are under moderate fire danger. You can learn more buy heading to dnr.wi.gov and searching for fire danger. Burning restrictions are updated daily after 11am.
