Clark and Surrounding Counties Under High Fire Danger

-Most of the state is experiencing high fire danger right now.Currently, Clark County is experiencing high fire danger. Our neighboring counties of Chippewa, Eau Claire, Jackson, Wood, Marathon and Taylor are all under high fire danger as well. The southern part of the state is under very high fire danger with some northern counties under moderate and even low fire danger. Most of the state is under high fire danger.
Areas of the state did see some wildfires this past weekend. There are burning restrictions in place in some counties. Today and tonight’s forecasted rain may help alleviate some of the high fire conditions.
