Andrew Beckett with Wisconsin Emergency Management says it's important to control any brush burns you're doing this spring.
"Making sure you have fire control ready and able to respond quickly if a fire does exceed your ability to keep it under control."
Beckett says you should keep an eye on the conditions before you start grilling.
"That they're aware of what the fire risk is, and that they're aware of any burning restrictions that might in place for their area."
