Fire Danger Still High in Clark County

-Even though the snow continues to melt and the ground thaws out with the onset of Spring, Wisconsin still needs to be wary of fire danger.According to the Wisconsin DNR, Clark County is still under high fire danger. Eau Claire, Jackson and Wood County are also under high fire danger. Marathon, Taylor and Chippewa are under moderate fire danger.
The entire lower half of the state is under high fire danger. Some counties in west-central Wisconsin are under moderate fire danger. The northern have of the state and some eastern counties are under low fire danger.
