UW Board of Regents Plans to Seat Walker Appointees

(WRN) -The UW Board of Regents says it plans to seat a pair of Walker appointees, despite the fact that Governor Evers fired them.Board of Regents President John Behling says he believes a court ruling staying the decision that allowed Evers to fire two appointees to the Board is still in effect. He says Scott Beightol and Torrey Tiedeman will be sworn in at the Regent's meeting on Thursday.
They're hoping that the appeals court that stayed the ruling against last year's lame duck session can clarify their decision in regards to the appointees.
