Man Arrested in Osseo for Possession Appears in Trempealeau County Court

-One of two people arrested for possession in the City of Osseo after the execution of a search warrant appeared in Trempealeau County Court on Wednesday.According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, they executed a search warrant at home in Osseo. They home was occupied by 31-year-old James Guntner and 29-year-old Kiera Whitman as well as a young child. A search of the residence found over 3 grams of heroin, marijuana, drug packaging material and other items. It was determined that the two were selling drug out of their home, which is 500 feet from school grounds. The child was removed from the home.
Guntner is facing charges of possession with intent-heroin, manufacture/deliver heroin, neglecting a child, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia. During his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court in a couple weeks.
