Neillsville Fire Department Rescues Man from Home with No Heat

-The Neillsville Fire Department assisted the Loyal Fire Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office by rescuing a man from his home in rural Loyal.The department received a call around 10pm that a man’s home had run out of heat. Due to the location, gas trucks were unable to get to the man’s home and he was unable to get out. The Clark County Sheriff’s Department asked the fire department if they could use their UTV to retrieve the man.
They were able to do so and the man was transported to a sheriff’s vehicle. The man wasn’t injured in anyway and he had made plans to stay in Neillsville.
