Governor Evers Plans to Decriminalize Marijuana

(WRN) -Governor Tony Evers is signalling his plans to decriminalize marijuana.The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Governor Evers says he will include the changes as part of his upcoming state budget. Evers will be including measures to legalize medical marijuana as treatments for chronic pain, P T S D and cancer recovery. The measure would also allow for people who were convicted of having small amounts of marijuana to get their criminal records expunged.
Republican leaders in the legislature have stated that they're not sure if these sorts of measures would pass the chambers.
