Reminder: The Neillsville Fire Department Asks Residents to "Adopt A Fire Hydrant"

Just a reminder, the Neillsville Fire Department is asking residents to “adopt a fire hydrant.”Due to the large amount of snow fall early this week, many of Neillsville’s fire hydrants can’t even be seen. The Neillsville Fire Department is asking residents to “adopt a fire hydrant” in front of, near or even down the street from their home and clean the snow away from them.
The department says a 6 foot circle around the hydrant would be ideal and it’s important this is done, so the department can effectively respond to an emergency should one arise.
