Granton School Board Approves Field Trips and More

-The Granton School Board approved a couple field trips at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the Boys’ Basketball Fieldtrip to the state tournament in Madison and the Girls’ Basketball Fieldtrip to the state tournament in Green Bay. The board approved the shared agreements with Loyal for the Library Media Specialist, School Psychologist, and Vocal Music positions. The board also approved the Complete Control proposal for a booster heater in the physical education office and approved the Instrumental Music contract for Jesse Kozak.
The board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Superintendent Scott Woodington reported that with all of the days missed for inclement weather, the board approved changing March 25th and May 13th from professional development days to school days. Also, Rick Marks presented two options for the district’s technology infrastructure to replace the current servers with new servers or cloud based servers. They are moving forward with a trial cloud based server.
