Neillsville Fire Department Asking Resident to "Adopt a Fire Hydrant"

-The Neillsville Fire Department is asking residents to “adopt a fire hydrant.”Due to the large amount of snow fall Monday night and Tuesday, many of Neillsville’s fire hydrants can’t even be seen. The Neillsville Fire Department is asking residents to “adopt a fire hydrant” near their home and clean the snow away from them.
The department says a 6 foot circle around the hydrant would be ideal and it’s important this is done, so the department can effectively respond to an emergency should one arise.
