Governor Evers Joins Group of Governors Focused on Climate Change

(WRN) -Wisconsin's Tony Evers is joining a group of governors focused on climate change.The U.S. Climate Alliance formed two years ago to implement the Paris climate accord at the state level. It's goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 26 percent below 2005 levels by 2025. The nineteen member coalition includes three Republican governors, as well as North Carolina Democrat Ralph Northam.
Evers last week said Northam ought to resign, in light of a racist photo from a 1980s medical school yearbook that shows him wearing blackface.
