Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association's 39th Convention and Annual Meeting Held this Past Weekend

-The Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association 39th convention and annual meeting was held this past weekend at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn and convention center.Nearly 325 FFA Alumni members from across the state of Wisconsin attended this year’s event. Jordan Donnerbauer from Stanley-Boyd was named the Outstanding Agriculture Educator and Granton received a chapter support grant. The Dr. V.O. Martinson Award is given to the FFA Alumni who had the greatest increase in annual membership percentage. Greenwood FFA Alumni is this year’s recipient. The Ann Martinson Award is given to the chapter who has had the greatest increase in lifetime membership. Granton FFA Alumni received that honor this year.
Some other local individuals elected to the complete council included Jerry Larsen of Unity for Section 1, Caleb Green of Stanley-Boyd for Section 2, Cindi Freidhof Colby for Section 7, Amy Penterman of Thorp for Section 7 and Cheryl Steinbach is the Executive Director. All funds that are raised as part of the state convention are given back to support the FFA members through various state level programs.
