Local FFA Alumni Chapters Receive Awards

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Many FFA Alumni members and their chapters were honored for their level of excellence during the past year at the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Convention in Stevens Point.Some local chapters received awards for their efforts. The Greenwood FFA Alumni received the Dr. V.O. Martinson Award for having the greatest increase in members this year, with Granton earning the Ann Martinson Award for the highest increase of life-time members. The Granton Chapter was awarded local program grants of $1,000 for curriculum, equipment, FFA supplies or other chapter needs.
Ag instructor Jordan Donnerbauer from Stanley-Boyd was recognized for his involvement with local FFA Alumni groups. The Wisconsin FFA Alumni is one of the nation's largest state affiliates with nearly 19,000 members listed on the group's roster.
