Clark County Trails open to ATV & Snowmobile Riders Saturday (2/9)

Friday, February 8th, 2019 -- 2:01 PM

Effective Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 10:00 am, trails located on the Clark County Forest will be open to ATV and Snowmobile riders. Trails located on Private Lands will also be opened to the public at this time with the following exception due to open running water.

1. Riplinger Rip Riders Corridor 20 Trail from Intersection 59 to Intersection 58

Area clubs have been working diligently to make sure all trails are safe and groomed. We ask that you please respect the 10:00 am opening time to allow all clubs to properly prepare all trails. Early season riding conditions do exist. Riders should be mindful of the possibility of encountering drifting, windswept fields, slippery patches as we have a heavy ice base, and open water in swamps and river crossings.

Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months (November 1- May 14).

Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.co.clark.wi.us for more information on our trail system.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
