Fundraising Efforts for Clark County Fairgrounds Revitalization Project Going Well

-An informational meeting was held on the Clark County Fairgrounds Revitalization Project on Wednesday.The meeting provided information for those in attendance on the progress of the project. The committee was pleased to announce that over $126,000 has been committed in donations, in-kind and pledges toward the Fairgrounds Revitalization Project. Additional in-kind donations of $30,000.00, and more, are being considered by other donors at this time. The total project goal is $1,650,000. Cash and in-kind donations are being raised primarily for the construction of a Multipurpose Livestock Building and Multipurpose Event Center. Fundraising efforts began during the 2018 fair with donor contacts starting in October 2018 and are ongoing.
Opportunities for building naming rights still exist. Many other improvements to the Fairgrounds are planned or have been completed in recent months.
