Abbotsford Man Appears in Eau Claire County Court for Possession of Child Pornography

-An Abbotsford man charged for possessing child pornography and child sexual assault appeared in Eau Claire County.According to court records, in early December of 2018, the Eau Claire Police Department received tips from CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Garry James. James was living at the Beacon House in Eau Claire. James was arrested and two tablets were seized. During an interview, James admitted to authorities that he assaulted two young girls.
James is being charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of repeated sexual assault of a child. During his arraignment on Thursday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
