Black River Falls Man Charged with Trying to Kill his Sister Appears in Jackson County Court

-A Black River Falls man charged with trying to kill his sister appeared in Jackson County Court on Thursday.According to court records, toward the end of December of 2018, police responded to a shooting at a home in Black River Falls. A woman told police that she and her brother, Christopher German, had gotten into a heated argument. That’s when German retrieved a handgun and fired at her head. German was arrested a short while later with the gun in his possession.
He’s facing multiple charges including first degree intentional homicide and carrying a concealed weapon. During his preliminary hearing on Thursday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He also entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s back in court today.
