Abbotsford Man Top Winner in Soybean Yield Contest

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin Soybean Association and Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board have honored the top winners of the 2018 Soybean Yield Contest.The growers were given a plaque and cash prizes during this week's Corn/Soy Expo in Wisconsin Dells. One local winner, in Division 3, was Craig Oehmichen of Abbotsford. He planted Credenz CZ 1028LL and it came to 77.90 bushels per acre during harvest.
The contest is sponsored by the Wisconsin Soybean Program and organized to encourage the development of new and innovative management practices and to show the importance of using sound cultural practices in soybean production.
