Two People Arrested for High Speed Chase in Wood County

-Two people were arrested after a high speed chase in Wood County.According to the Marshfield Police Department, around 3:30pm on Monday, they attempted to pull over a vehicle on the city’s south side. The vehicle sped up and led authorities on a chase through Wood County before it eventually ended in Clark County. Two people, Christopher Gaffney and Josie Lutz, both of Marshfield, were arrested.
Officers found 33 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Gaffney and Lutz are facing charges of possession for various substances as well as fleeing an officer.
